Shot Day

Roderick got his 2 month shots on Wednesday, 10/3/12. He was one tough little boy and didn't even cry too much.  I felt like snapping a bunch of pictures throughout the day so here they are.

Earlier that morning playing in his chair, I like the concentration on his face that he was using to look at the hippo. He'll kick his feet so the chair bounces a little and the toys move around (he's doing the same thing right now).

Here we are at the doctor's office. He didn't cry as loud, but he definitely cried for longer when he had his temperature taken and had to be undressed and weighed.

He now weighs 12 pounds and measures 23 inches long with a head circumference of 38 cm. He's pretty much right at the 50th percentile.

I took this picture at home to show his little band aids.

After getting his shots he calmed down by the time I got him in his car seat and out to reception to schedule our next appointment. I was all prepared with tylenol but didn't have to use any! When we got home he was happy and smiling a bit in his swing.

And here we are at dinner time- all wiped out after a big afternoon.

Since I didn't want him to feel picked on I also got my flu shot while we were there. Here's a picture of the two of us right before bedtime.

Oh my gosh, Heather. He is so dang fabulous. I can't wait to see him again. Also, I am excited about the posts you're going to be making. Love you! :-)
